1. WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO TAKE THIS COURSE?

   1. A student that has a written request (may be emailed) from the public or non-public Supervisor of Driver Education in their city/county may take this course.
      
   2. District 8 students are not eligible to take this 90 Minute Parent Teen Program. (cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church,
      Manassas, Manassas Park, and the counties of Loudoun, Arlington,
      Fairfax, and Prince William.)
2. Please make sure you register with the Student's name.
   
3. Complete the online application form on the next page.
4. Pay $14 for the course.
5. Complete this course within 48 hours.
6. DO NOT REGISTER FOR THIS CLASS UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO COMPLETE IT! YOU MUST COMPLETE THE PROGRAM WITHIN 48 HOURS OF REGISTRATION.

Online Learning is not for everyone. Parents and teens must:

1. Make a personal commitment.
2. Schedule at least 90 minutes of time.
3. Be able to learn together online.
4. Be computer literate.
5. Have an e-mail address and Internet access.

• I must read every page of the text, listen to every PowerPoint slide and watch every video.  I understand that this is monitored and the final log will be reviewed prior to issuance of the certificate of Completion.
• I must complete every quiz, the final exam and the parent/teen contract.
• I must complete this course within a 48-hour period.

As this 90-minute parent/teen component is part of the classroom driver education course, the accountability for the documentation of successful completion rests with the classroom course provider.
