90 Minute Parent Teen


ATTENTION STUDENTS REGISTERING FOR THE 90 MINUTE PARENT/TEEN PROGRAM

Please read this carefully. We will not give a refund, if you sign-up and are not eligible to take this.

Who is eligible to take this course?

  1. A student taking the classroom driver education course through a computer based Driver Training School may take this course. (Except for District 8 Students, cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church, Manassas, Manassas Park, and the counties of Loudoun, Arlington, Fairfax, and Prince William.)
  2. A student that has a written request (may be emailed) from the Supervisor of Driver Education in their city/county may take this course.
  3. District 8 students are not eligible to take this 90 Minute Parent Teen Program.

You must complete the program within 48 hours of registration.

When you and your parents complete the program, you MUST download the Affirmation of Attendance and Agreement (three pages), print and complete each with signatures, scan and email to vadetsonline@gmail.com. No certificate will be issued until this certification is received! The Affirmation of Attendance and Agreement are found on your course menu after you complete Module 8.

If you fail to complete the program within 48 hours, you will need to register with a different email address and pay for the course again.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO TAKE THIS 90-MINUTE PARENT/TEEN COURSE ONLINE?
No refund will be issued to any student who enrolls and completes the program and was not eligible to complete it.

The Code of Virginia (ยง 22.1-205) requires students and their parents to participate in a 90-minute parent/teen presentation.  This presentation is a component of the classroom driver education course.

The accountability for the implementation, delivery, and documentation of successful completion of this legislative requirement rests with your classroom driver education teacher.
